Resdev Ltd chooses AWL Ltd for ISO impact testing.
We are pleased to be helping Resdev Ltd (Resin Developments) establish and confirm ISO 6272-1 single point impact performance using a large area indenter to provide rapid deformation. This part of ISO 6272 describes the method for evaluating resistance to cracking or peeling and is best used as a relative performance test for categorising different product formulations. The method can be applied either as a pass/fail test if acceptance criteria are known, or as a classification test to determine the minimum impact energy (J) before cracking or peeling occurs.
